For some reason, since this summer I have not been able to wash my car at the Diamond Shamrock. In fact, none of anyone I spoke to has been able to. And it has come to my attention that Exxon as well refuses to wash anyone's car. Texaco on the other hand will wash your car. However, they will just sprinkle water on top. No spraying the under carriage, no wax, it won't even blow dry your car. So why then do they sell car washes? The doors of the wash should be shut and the computers should not even ask if you want one. I have asked the people at Diamond Shamrock if they ever plan to wash cars again. They claimed that it would be open again soon, which so far is unlikely. Solution: 1.) protest and boycott gas buying at those who have washes, or 2.) wait for a clear and sunny day, save 5 bucks, and wash it manually.
