Title: Best Place To Live! 12.17.03

Recently Money Magazine created a list of the hottest towns. This was based on median household income and home price, as well as many other things. Also from this we learn that our town's population had increased 277% since 1990. Way to crowd up those streets! But we made the list and that's all that matters.

#2 Western region, under 100,000 population

From flower-mound.com 07.16.09
Flower Mound was recently named the sixth best place to move to in the nation and number one in Texas by Forbes in the ďAmerica's 25 Best Places to MoveĒ list. To locate America's best places to move, Forbes considered cities with populations of more than 25,000 and the number of people in each town who were born out of state or abroad, moved from a considerable distance within one and five years, and relocated for a job. Other factors included population growth, family incomes, people in executive and professional jobs, price, size, and age of homes, changes in school enrollments, and the proximity of multinational companies. The publication noted Flower Moundís close proximity to DFW Airport, high percentage of adults with a bachelorís degree or higher, and convenient access to global employers such as ExxonMobil, Stryker Corp., American Airlines, and Texas Instruments as factors in the high ranking.

I assume "Best Places to Move" Is the same as "Best Places to Live."

#6 best place to move to in the nation
#1 in Texas
