On Friday, May 14, 2010, the Town of Flower Mound will once again open the Wild About Flower Mound to families across Dallas/Fort Worth, but this year organizers have taken the weekend festival to a higher level.  Surpassing the standards set forth by other festivals, Wild About Flower Mound 2010 will showcase a completely free Kid’s Zone, Environmental Fair, a classic Auto Show, the best in Texas music and much more.  Presented by Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Flower Mound, Wild About Flower Mound 2010 will take place at Bakersfield Park, 1201 Duncan Lane, from 5 – 10 p.m. on Friday May 14th and 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. on Saturday, May 15th.  Admission and onsite parking are free for all attendees.

2010 Wild About Flower Mound Festival Rescheduled to June 18 & 19

The 2010 Town of Flower Mound Wild About Flower Mound Festival has been rescheduled for June 18 and 19. Originally scheduled to occur in May, the event was postponed due to safety and welfare concerns associated with severe weather forecasted for the original event dates. Officials are encouraging residents and visitors to update their calendars with the new festival dates and attend Flower Mound’s free signature event that will feature live music, family-friendly activities, food, and refreshments.
