Just now finally got a chance to eat here. They have definitely updated the look of the place. I figured it would stay mostly the same considering that both are Tex-Mex restaurants. It appears more formal than the previous tenant. Instead of a salsa bar, they bring out two different types of salsa. The green one may not look appetizing, but if you like cilantro, you'll love it. The only complaint that others had made was that it was too watery.
Prices are pretty much the same as you'd find at any Tex Mex restaurant in Flower Mound. And you can frequently find coupons in the clipper/adpages mailed out. The Pollo y Salsa soda fountain has been removed and sodas are now in can form. But the wooden menu, and the waiter (without asking) both stated that there were free refills. $1.75 may seem expensive for a coke can, but considering how much normal fountain drinks cost at places like this, and considering that most places that offer can sodas dont offer free refills, this was a huge deal.
But don't get Agave Azul confused with the closed Agave. This place is located in the intersection of FM 3040 and Gerault
